Terri Coverley is a senior member of the Civil Service and the Director of Communications at the Department of Social Affairs and Citizenship.
Background
Personal
Coverley is married and has one daughter. She has a sister who lives in Hastings and works in mental health. Her father passes away in Series 2 and her mother is currently in a care home as of the Specials. In Series 4 it is mentioned she is trying to get her pet dog on the TV show Britains Got Talent.
She takes part in an amateur dramatic and musical group, organising rehearsals and such whilst at work.
Professional
Prior to entering the Civil Service, Terri worked in the supermarket chain Sainsburys in some press capacity, then Waitrose as Head of Press. She was headhunted to join the Civil Service in a failed attempt to make the government "run like a business".
